More books welcome for sale

Book donations are coming in for the Kenora-Rainy River branch of the Alzheimer Society of Canada’s fourth-annual book sale here next Thursday through Saturday (Feb. 7-9).
But more are always welcome for the fundraiser, which will take place at Revco Carpet (950 Fifth St. W.)
Anyone looking to donate books for the sale can drop them off at Revco during regular business hours—and even after the sale begins (no encyclopedias please).
Those who want to donate books, but are unable to get themselves to Revco, can call Anna McNay at 274-9268 to pick up them up for you.
Revco is open next Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and again Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The public can drop by the store during those hours, fill a bag with books, and then make a donation to the Alzheimer Society.
Like all the other fundraising events for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River District, proceeds will go towards further promotion of Alzheimer awareness and education in both districts—not to a provincial or national organization.
