The Fort Frances Canadians Midget ‘AA’ team returned victorious from across the river last night, defeating the International Falls Broncos junior varsity squad 7-2.
Jared Baker led the offensive attack with a hat trick. Matt Goldamer netted a pair while Jordan Sinclair and David Chambers each added a goal.
Special teams were the story in the win as three of the Canadians’ goals came on the penalty kill.
The Canadians next head to Wayzata, Mn. on Jan. 18-20.
