Dear editor:
Last Tuesday morning, Nov. 13, our 10-year-old Golden Retriever became lost in the bush near Nickel Lake and later was seen on the highway.
Over the next four days, many trips by family and friends failed to located him. Many folks travelling in the area were aware and watched the highway, including transports, bus drivers, etc.
Fortunately, an OPP highway patrol spotted the red ribbon on the collar of a very tired, lonely puppy late on Saturday morning, phoned, and brought him home.
This note is a simple but very sincere thank you to all who assisted in any way.
Sincerely,
Tom, Sue,
and Curly-Joe
