Gospel duo performing here Friday

Fort Frances Covenant Church is looking forward to hosting “Singing With Grace” (a.k.a. Curtis and Bonnie Szakacs) this Friday (Nov. 2) at 7:30 p.m.
Bonnie and Curtis have ministered at music festivals, banquets, fairs, crusades, retreats, coffee houses, schools, and churches.
Their music covers a vast range of styles, including contemporary folk, blues, jazz, Celtic, traditional and contemporary worship, and children’s.
In the concert setting, he plays piano and she plays guitar.
Thought-provoking lyrics, spirited instrumentation, and intricate harmonies are interwoven to create a unique musical tapestry—displaying the message of hope and faith in God.
During their family concert format, they often take time to do some puppetry, tell a story, and sing a song with the children.
The Szakacs have toured from coast to coast, throughout Canada and into the U.S., including three extensive Maritime tours. In addition to radio airplay, they have made numerous television appearances.
“Their music has a fresh sound and will inspire you,” said Willard Thiessen, host of It’s a New Day (Trinity Television).
The Szakacs were nominees for the 2004 VIBE Awards and double nominees for the 2003 Covenant Awards (CGMA).
Their music and ministry can be followed by visiting www.singingwithgrace.com
Pastor Ken Johnson and the Fort Frances Covenant Church invite the public to join us for this special event. There will be a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m., followed by the concert at 7:30.
A freewill offering will be taken for the couple at that time.
