Shaw Communications this week announced its channel lineup will be changing as of Sept. 18 through to Sept. 20 to bring its customers the greatest in content choice and selection, including new HD (high definition) channels and NHL Centre Ice.
NHL Centre Ice consists of at least 1,000 regular-season and selected play-off games from the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The markets affected as of Sept. 18 include Fort Frances, Atikokan, and Dryden.
“We are very pleased to offer our customers new HD channels as well as NHL Centre Ice,” said Peter Bissonnette, president of Shaw Communications Inc.
“While these additions are going to change the current channel lineup, they will greatly enhance our customers’ television viewing experience,” he added.
“By taking the time to give advance notice of these changes to our affected customers, we are ensuring that our high standards of customer care and service are maintained.”
