The Country Cabin Quilt Guild will be holding its first meeting of the new season next Wednesday (Sept. 5) at 7 p.m. at the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau in the old CN station.
The guild will be donating to various community projects and holding workshops throughout the year.
Elections of officers were held at the end of last season, with the new executive being Kim Roy (president), Dawn Lundy (vice-president), Peggy Johnson (secretary), Kerry Harper (Fat Quarter draw co-ordinator, and Connee Badiuk (workshop co-ordinator).
Sally Stewart and Susan Tighe are on the phoning reminder committee.
The first Fat Quarter draw is green. A reminder to all returning members to bring finished vintage block to the meeting.
The Country Cabin Quilt Guild would like to welcome back all past members and welcome any new ones. The annual fee is $15.
