Saturday saw a total of 34 participants play in the annual ladies’ golf tournament at Kitchen Creek Golf Course.
According to event organizer Barb Asplund, every one of them left that day with prizes, thanks to the many donations from local sponsors. With four flights starting the day at 9 a.m., Mother Nature supplied a little heat and sunshine for a great day on the course.

Other prizes awarded included: closest to the hole on holes five, seven, 11 and 13; longest drive on hole 17; closest to the line (regardless of distance on hole nine; high hidden hole for hole 12; and longest putt on hole two.
Barb, her committee helpers, and a select few male helpers made sure that everyone playing the tournament left happy.
