The Northwestern Health Unit has declared the dock in front of the Harbourage Restaurant unsafe for swimming after high bacterial counts were discovered in that area during routine water sampling.
This swimming area is closed and will remain closed until further notice.
Weekly routine beach sampling will continue throughout the summer. Contact the health unit at 274-9827 for further information.
