Members of the Borderland Roller Derby will be taking their talents to the Memorial Sports Centre as the squad holds its first-ever “bout” on Saturday, Sept. 11.
The “Border-town Shut-down” will be held in the ’52 Canadians Arena as the locals face a team from the Winnipeg Roller Derby League.
Doors open at 6:30, with the “bout” beginning at 7.
Advance tickets cost $10, which are available at Sight & Sound, Bombshell, and Northwoods Gallery and & Gifts, as well as from team members.
Tickets cost $15 at the door.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Fort Frances “Community Chest.”
