An Atikokan teen was killed and three other people were injured in a single-vehicle accident on Pine Crescent there early Sunday morning.
Krysta Mosley, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene after a Pontiac Grand Prix struck a tree and telephone pole around 4:30 a.m. yesterday, causing the car to shear in two, Fort Frances OPP reported this morning.
Jesse Barnard, 19, and Joseph Benjamin, 28, both of Atikokan, and Alisha Seguin, 19, of Thunder Bay were taken to Atikokan General Hospital with severe injuries, police added.
Benjamin and Sequin subsequently were taken by air ambulance to Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
Barnard was treated and released from hospital in Atikokan.
Atikokan OPP, assisted by the Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit, continues to investigate the accident.
