Mr. Editor,
This past Sunday, the Borderland Ensemble conducted an hour-long concert in the kiosk at Lions Park at the corner of Shevlin and Second Street. Their repertoire was easily listening, Maritime, folk, among many other favourites.
A crowd assembled to listen to the group and enjoyed it. The Lions Club members have worked hard and invested time, energy and money to make this park and its “Fountain of Hope,” a gift to our community for their enjoyment, and the Borderland Ensemble has enhanced that effort for many to enjoy.
I would, as all the members of the Fort Frances Lions Club, like to invite the community to make use of the park for their pleasure and I thank the Ensemble for their concert.
