Masts planning more Bible camps

It may still be winter but the home of the Mark and Tina Mast family is buzzing these days with plans for the summer regarding Vacation Bible Schools, Bible Camps, and the wilderness canoe trip.
It is at this time of year when everything is starting to roll into shape. They are hoping and praying all the planning will work out according to God’s will.
Presently, the Masts’ primary focus of ministry is on the Bible Camps, which are taking place on a weekly basis in six locations.
Mark Mast continues to serve as part-time pastor at Rainy River Evangelical Covenant Church, and still can find a wonderful compliment to their ministry with the Canadian Sunday School Mission.
He also serves as chairman of the Christian Parents’ Association at the Public Alternative Christian School at Stratton.
“We are keeping very busy with ministry opportunities and they are, for the most part, very encouraged,” he noted.
The Masts often receiving e-mails and other complimentary notes. One was from a teenager named Erin, who had attended the Teen Bible Study that they lead each week.
She recently moved to southern Ontario but wrote to express her gratefulness.
“I enjoyed coming to youth and thought it was a great experience for me,” she said. “I also wanted to thank you for introducing Christ to me because now I feel like I pray when something goes wrong or when I really need Him to watch over me in the difficult times.
“I really found it touching when I received all the prayers from everyone when they found out when I was leaving,” she added. “You reach out to others who are in need.”
These are the kind of encouragements that keep the Masts going forward regardless of how people may act against them in bringing the Gospel to everyone.
