Letters of support needed

Dear editor:
We are pleased to see the piece in the paper about the district municipalities supporting our efforts in getting a hemo-dialysis unit in Fort Frances.
As a member of the Coalition of Seniors, we like to see everyone’s efforts coming to fruition.
But I think there is something else we all can do to help put this over before it’s dropped by the health ministry. We should all write and express our concerns for the persons having to take these treatments, and how it would be so much more reasonable to take them here than in Thunder Bay or Winnipeg.
It’s every second day so it’s a lot of travelling, which cannot be good for their health.
The addresses which we should write letters to re the hemo-dialysis unit are 10th floor, Hepburn Block, 80 Grosvenor St., Toronto, Ont., M7A 1R3 (attention John King, deputy minister) and Northern Services, 159 Cedar St., 4th Floor, Suite 406, Sudbury, Ont., P3E 6A5 (attention Ellen Mahood, regional director).
The more letters we write, the better the chances of having success.
Yours truly,
Hugh C. Masson
P.S. Let’s finally put this thing over the top.
