Dear sir:
It is a well-known fact that the Anglican parish in Fort Frances is in a state of turmoil with a serious dispute taking place between some members of that congregation and the Diocesan authorities.
I have remained neutral in this matter, and have no intention of becoming involved in it.
The Anglican congregation at Rainy River also is not involved in this dispute but is praying for reconciliation between the parties involved.
Remember, there are two sides to any serious dispute, and both sides need to be heard.
At the core of this matter is the fact that every Anglican priest in charge of a parish is required to take an “oath of allegiance” to the Diocesan bishop.
