Dear sir:
This is about the letter I received from Premier Mike Harris in response to my recent letter to the editor on the situation at Rainycrest, and the health program.
I want to speak frankly to your readers about the lack of sufficient services at Rainycrest. First, we are very short of staff, which has resulted in residents not getting the maximum care that they deserve.
Because staff is so overworked, they become fatigued to the point where they have to make their calls quicker and briefer, and not thorough enough.
It’s high time the citizens of Fort Frances start getting involved so that their loved ones and friends are looked after properly. Please help by contacting your government reps (local, provincial, and federal).
