Coverage lacking

To the editor:
After flipping through the paper last Monday, Tuesday, and then Wednesday, I was very disappointed not to see a single mention of the Spring Charity Ball hosted by the Fort Frances Women’s Business Network.
There was, however, a full page spread on the Ducks Unlimited banquet held the same weekend.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for conservation of waterfowl, but a small group of women worked very hard to put together an evening to create awareness and support the disabled and ill children of our community, and your paper chose to ignore their efforts.
In the future, I would expect your paper to show the same respect to the commitment the WBN has made to helping children as you would the plight of ducks.
