The Emo Figure Skating Club opened its season last Wednesday (Oct. 4), with 30 skaters registered and a few more expected to sign up down the road.
“Once again, the skaters will be guided by our wonderful and talented professional coach, Marie-Josee Potvin, who is planning a fun, productive season,” said EFSC president Diane Nordstrom.
“The EFSC is now its own club,” she added, noting they’ve just received notice from Skate Canada that their application was approved.
Meanwhile, sales of the community birthday calendars are progressing well, and the club is hoping to soon contact all those who had ordered one last year.
