Ask for toll history

Dear sir:
On my third crossing of the industrial bridge to Fort Frances, I asked for a receipt. I told the lady I had been overcharged one crossing.
Her answer: “I can’t do anything about it.”
On my next trip, I suggested to a different lady I’d been overcharged. After I told her the date, she said, “Just a minute, I got it” and issued me a free pass.
She also handed me a “Toll Card History.”
It was clear to me on my first crossing in the dark that I had fumbled handling my toll card and recorded two crossings one second apart. Now I watch it lest my card “swipe” a crossing or two.
Be sure to ask for a “Toll Card History.”
