Students in grade seven and eight classroom have been very busy lately. Last Monday, the grade eight class travelled to Fort Frances for a tour of Fort Frances High School.
Upon their arrival, students were directed to the auditorium, where they listened to a few words from the principal as well as representatives from the athletic teams, student council, and other extra-curricular groups.
The speakers reminded students of how important it is that they become involved in grade nine, whether it be in sports, drama, or other things.
After the speakers, students were divided into groups and assigned to a tour guide to show them the way around the high school. They were taken to the office, guidance department, library, drama room, as well as many classrooms along the way.
Afterwards, the grade eights headed to the Legion Park for pizza and pop before heading back to school.
