As expected, Rainy Lake rose by 1.7 cm (0.67 inches) after Wednesday night’s heavy rain.
After receiving 2.69 cm (1.06 inches) of rain overnight, the lake now sits at 338.234 m (1,109.69 ft)–about 56.4 cm (22.2 inches) above the International Joint Commission’s maximum rule curve for this date.
Namakan Lake also rose by 1.5 cm (0.59 inches) overnight to sit at 341.15 m (1,119.26 ft.)
But Rainy River below the dam continued to drop by 0.8 cm (0.31 inches) since Wednesday, and currently sits at 331.38 m (1,087.2 ft.)
