Dear sir:
My name is Joey Lee and I am 12 years-old. For the past several months, my step-brother, David, and I have been looking forward to entering the “Bassin for Bucks” bass tournament in Sioux Narrows, along with my uncle, Rob McNay, and my step-dad, Rod Halliday.
We spent quite a bit of time going out and recruiting sponsors for our team to help pay for our entry fee and gas, and we received a lot of financial support from the various businesses and individuals in town.
Unfortunately, due to last-minute, unforeseen circumstances, my step-brother will not be able to make it down to the tournament.
My heart was broken, and I thought for sure I would have to cancel–that is until my uncle and step-dad talked and decided that it wasn’t fair that I not be able to go. So my Uncle Rob gracefully bowed out and they broke up their team so I could still fish in the tournament.
Thanks to my Uncle Rob for I know how much he will mss fishing in this tournament, and many thanks again to all my sponsors for their donations and their understanding.
The new team of Joey Lee and Rod Halliday will do their best to the catch “THE BIG ONE!”
Signed,
Joey Lee
