Setting it straight

Dear sir:
Upon buying the Emo Centennial cookbook, “The River of Thyme,” we were surprised to see the Visser family featured on page 20.
A small rectification, however.
The Visser family travelled by plane and first set foot on Canadian soil in Gander, Nfld. on Aug. 8, 1957. The Vos family travelled by foot and landed in Halifax (Pier 21) in 1950.
