About 20 students from Crossroads School in Devlin made the trip to Thunder Bay to compete in the annual Mid-Canada cross-country meet at Lakehead University on Saturday.
Many supportive parents, other family members, and friends showed up to cheer the runners on. Congratulations, kids, on not only the run of the day, but also the many hours of training you put in leading up to it.
Crossroads has taken part in this event for many years and I know our athletics are highly respected in this sport.
The girls placed sixth overall in the team event. The boys also put forth a good effort although they didn’t crack the top 10.

Robin’s 2¢:
The eager relatives gathered for the reading of the will. It contained one sentence:
“Being of sound mind, I spent every darn cent I had!”
