Highway 11 was closed for about seven hours yesterday after a single-vehicle collision about six km east of Pearson’s Road that sent the driver to hospital.
The driver of a westbound pickup truck lost control of his vehicle around 2 p.m., causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and roll over, police reported.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances with minor injuries, police added.
The OPP closed the highway to all traffic in order to investigate the accident, re-opening it to one lane at 9 p.m.
