The Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s “Old Bags Lunch,” originally scheduled for last Sept. 30, now will be held Saturday, April 21 at noon in the cafeteria at the Fort Frances High School.
Tickets cost $15 each, and will include a yummy bag lunch, entertainment, and lots of fun and games!
Paid tables of eight will be reserved.
“We have a wide assortment of new, almost new, and designer bags up for grabs at the luncheon,” enthused Joan Allison, chair of the Foundation’s special events committee.
Entertainment also is planned.
“The ‘Baguettes’ will be there to perform and I know you won’t want to miss them,” said Allison.
All “old bags” are welcome.
“You don’t have to be an old bag to attend, but feel free to come as one . . . the Thrift Store is always open for business,” chuckled Allison.
More than 60 tickets already had been sold when the event had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances last fall.
Foundation director Teresa Hazel stressed all previously sold tickets would be honoured.
“Nobody has asked for a refund. However, if you have any questions, please give us a call,” Hazel said.
Tickets are available at the 364 Store, Cousineau Brokers, and Sunset Country Ford, or by calling Allison at 274-9484 or the Foundation office at 274-4803.
Proceeds from the “Old Bags Lunch” will be used to maintain excellent health care services across Rainy River District.
