Vianets, Vous to play for title

The championship game of the Fort Frances Men’s Basketball League will feature the top two teams from the regular season.
Vianets (14-1) punched their ticket into the final with a 85-60 win over Taggs (0-15) in one semi-final match-up Monday night.
John Sivonen led all scorers with 36 points while Todd Riches poured in 22 points for Taggs.
Meanwhile, La Place Rendez-Vous (11-4) defeated the Fort High Muskies (6-9) by a score of 64-57 in the other semi-final.
Brad Wardas was the game’s top scorer with 26 points while Joey Theriault netted 14 for the Muskies.
The league wraps up its season this coming Monday (April 2) at Fort High.
The consolation final is scheduled for 6 p.m., with tip-off for the championship game slated for 8 p.m.
