What would you do if you saw a black bear in Voyageurs National Park? Should you be afraid of bears?
Join park guide Melissa Dahl this Sunday (March 11 from 2-4 p.m. at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center to learn about black bears and how to handle an encounter, enjoy bear snacks, and have a “beary” good time.
Recommended for ages four and up.
Visitors are encouraged to come early to browse through the museum and bookstore, check out the winter displays in the interactive area, go snowshoeing or skiing, or enjoy a cup of cocoa by the fire.
