On Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006 between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., this store was robbed of roughly $15,000 in Canadian and U.S. currency from a safe in an office.
In addition, in Sioux Lookout on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, someone stole about 25 cartons of various brands of cigarettes out of a shipment delivered around 11 a.m. to Furlane’s Confectionary at 46 King St.
