The Town of Fort Frances raised the Grand Council Treaty #3 flag at the Fort Frances Civic Centre on Friday, Oct. 16, giving it a permanent home on the town’s seventh flag pole. The flag pole has sat empty as a symbolic gesture while the town awaited permission to raise the flag, according to a post by the Town of Fort Frances. For more about Friday’s ceremony, see tomorrow’s edition of the Fort Frances Times.
