‘Prairie Oyster’ to perform tomorrow

Canadian country music legends “Prairie Oyster” will take to the stage at the Townshend Theatre here tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.—and only those who act fast will be able to get tickets for the show.
“Prairie Oyster” is performing as part of the tour de Fort’s additional concert series, which is available to the general public.
Tickets cost $20 each, which are available at Northwoods Gallery and Gifts and the Fort Frances Public Library.
Tickets also will be sold at the door starting at 6:30 p.m. if there are any left.
“This is one of Canada’s top performing acts,” tour de Fort spokesman Rod Newman said this morning. “They are as professional as they come. They have been there, done that, and we’re lucky enough to have them come here.”
The group, which has been performing for well over a decade, has won numerous country music awards and recorded songs such as “Man in the Moon,” “Did You Fall in Love with Me?” and “Good-bye, So Long, Hello.”
Newman said tickets are going fast. Those he had to sell all but disappeared over the last few days—and he urged anyone who wants to catch the show to act fast.
“If you are looking for a good sound, good music, and a great show, ‘Prairie Oyster’ will perform,” he enthused.
