Great bowling

Dear Mike:
I want to congratulate all the YBC bowlers who were in the zone round of the “4 Steps to Stardom” tournament held recently at Plaza Lanes against teams from Dryden, Kenora, and Atikokan.
Our bowlers were excellent, with the local Bantam boys’ and girls’ teams winning gold, as did the junior boys’ squad. Taking home silver were the junior girls and senior boys.
The local senior girls’ single is Lacey Bolduc while the senior boys’ single is Travis Bois.
All gold medalists will travel to Sudbury on March 9-12 to represent Plaza Lanes and Sunset Country in the provincial round. Good luck to all our bowlers and coaches.
I feel that all youth bowlers, aged four and up, should be recognized more for all their efforts. Bowling is a sport like any other and should be acknowledged more.
Help support all the YBC bowlers with encouragement and praise. They work hard to achieve what they receive.
