The leaders of the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League continue to strike fear in their opponents’ hearts.
Scared Hitless continued to set the pace with a league-high 42 points after action Nov. 21, with former leaders Gillons’ trailing by only two in second place.
The Diehards still are applying pressure on the front-runners, sitting in third spot with 38 points, while Sabaskong holds down fourth with 35.5.
The field thins out after the top quartet of teams, as the Squirts sit well back of the lead in fifth place with 25.5 points.
But even that placement isn’t safe right now as Power Paks and Wildcats, both with 24.5 points, are itching to improve their rankings.
Mixed Nuts maintains eighth place (19.5 points), followed by the Rookies (seven) and The Placers (five).
Results from action last Thursday (Nov. 28) were not available by press time today.
League action resumes this Thursday from 7-9:30 p.m. at Fort Frances High School and Robert Moore School.
