Warren L. Marusyk, age 67, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at the Atikokan General Hospital. Warren was born on October 4, 1958, in Port Arther, Ontario, a son to the late Alvin and Beatrice Marusyk. He is also predeceased by his brother Brad.
Warren is survived by his brothers Brian (Sue), Kevin (Barb), and Alan (Francis); children Angele (Mike) and Tylor (Caitlin); as well as his five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Warren is also survived by his partner, Pearl, who he loved dearly.
Warren was a millwright by trade and obtained his Red Seal in 1983. There was not much he could not fix and enjoyed doing so. Warren was never afraid of a good time with family and friends and took pleasure in making others laugh. “Well, that’s why they call me a millwright, not a millwrong!”
A celebration of life will be held on May 9, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Atikokan Legion in honour of Warren and his brother Brad.
