Grey Goose changes bus schedule

Grey Goose has changed the schedule for its buses coming here from Thunder Bay and those going to and from Winnipeg.
Starting tomorrow (Jan. 7), there will be no morning bus to Winnipeg on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as no evening bus coming in from there on those days.
A morning bus still will depart here for Winnipeg at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, arriving there at 12:25 p.m., with the evening bus departing Winnipeg at 6 p.m. and arriving here at 11:30 p.m. on those days.
Meanwhile, the daily bus from Thunder Bay now will leave there at 10:30 a.m. (EST) and arrive here at 2:05 p.m. (CST). That bus then will depart for Winnipeg at 2:20 p.m.
Similarly, a bus leaves Winnipeg at 10 a.m. daily to Fort Frances, then continues on to Thunder Bay at 3:35 p.m.
Amanda Smith, a Grey Goose employee here, said the buses were not running at high volume and due to the high costs of running the buses, “they are cutting back.”
She also noted a fare hike was implemented in November in an attempt to recoup costs associated by running the buses below capacity.
