Peacefully on March 5, 2026, Darrell Alfred Klyne, 67, of Couchiching First Nation passed away at the LaVerendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
Darrel was born August 4, 1958, to parents Alfred and Elaine (nee Mainville) Klyne.
He will be greatly missed by his partner Cindy Shock; step-sons Ryan and Travis; his sister Cathy (Porky) Perreault and many extended family members.
Darrell worked as a roofer for many years and he always loved to spend time with family and friends; especially fishing out on Rainy Lake.
He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Elaine; his step-son Kyle; and his siblings Bradley, Tracey and Janice. Cremation will take place followed by interment in Riverview Cemetery Fort Frances in the spring.
A heartfelt thank you to the nursing team and Dr. Kovacs up on the IMCU, who did a fantastic job of easing his journey and they did their absolute best!
