Not an option

Dear sir:
I certainly hope the Ministry of Natural Resources has taken into account all the people downstream of the Esox and Footprint dams. This is not just a local issue, but a regional one, too.
Regionally, I mean downstream all the way to Winnipeg via the Winnipeg River.
The dams have been there for more than 50 years and the eco-systems have adapted to the changes that took place. De-commissioning of the dams does not even sound like an option.
