Indigenous artists and crafters across the Thunder Bay district are being offered a chance to showcase and market their work to “thousands” of tourists this summer at one of the region’s main tourist attractions.
Pukaskwa National Park says it’s looking for “authentic Indigenous-made products” for its seasonal store at Hattie Cove.
“If you create items such as jewelry, beadwork, walking sticks, or other handcrafted goods, this is an opportunity to share your work with thousands of visitors,” according to a park post shared by Fort William First Nation.
Pukaskwa is located just east of Marathon at the end of Highway 627.
Those interested in displaying their work can contact the park by email at pukaskwaont@pc.gc.ca.
