Powlowski at RRDMA

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP was one of the invited speakers to the annual Rainy River District Municipal Association (RRDMA) meeting held at the Nestor Falls Community Hall last Saturday, January 10, 2026. Powlowski gave an update on the work done by his office in 2025, including continuing to advocate for changes to U.S. anglers fishing Canadian waters, and working to address doctor shortages by making it easier for foreign-trained doctors to get Canadian licenses. Powlowski also shared that, thanks to hiring of an assistant, his constituency office in Fort Frances has reopened for those looking for assistance or to bring issues to his attention.
