Fort Frances mayor Andrew Hallikas and Empower 2 Recover founder and CEO Jay Barnard displayed the Empower 2 Recover flag that was raised at the Fort Frances Civic Centre on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Empower 2 Recover held one of their all-day events in town the following day, giving testimonials from those who overcame mental health and addictions struggles to show that, with support, everyone has the power to recover.
