Dear sir:
After returning home Saturday night from the Borderland Thunder’s game in Dryden, I just had to write and say how proud I was to have gone to the last game of the season for these guys.
Even though they lost the game, these boys played their hearts out. After being down 3-1 in the best-of-seven series, they came back and they never gave up.
I think the coaching staff deserves a lot of credit (Dave Allison, Greg Madill, and Greg Ross). They did a fine job!
This junior hockey is a great sport and excellent winter entertainment (as the crowds show), and hope it will continue for years to come. Thanks for the season.
Also thanks to Corrine Webb for arranging the bus for the trip that probably was the best game of the season.
