Back on Thursday, Dec. 14, a motorist stopped at the Dryden OPP detachment and dropped off a package of toys found on the Trans-Canada Highway.
A Christmas miracle was performed and the toys have been reunited with their owners.
They were destined for the children of Sachigo Lake First Nation, but took a detour along the way (presumably falling out of Santa’s sleigh).
With the help of the Nishwanabe-Aski Police Service, the toys made their way up to Sachigo Lake to ensure they would be there in time for Christmas.
Dryden OPP and Santa would like to thank NAPS for making it possible for the children to receive their gifts in time for the big event.
