Loss for words

Dear sir:
I am writing in regard to the recent “Relay for Life” walk-a-thon for cancer held at Pither’s Point. I cannot find the words to describe how I felt being a part of this.
There was tears in my eyes as I walked around the track watching the luminaries being lit. It was awesome. It also was very emotional being part of the “survivors’ lap.”
I would like to thank everyone who purchased a luminary for me. Also, a big thanks to everyone who sponsored me for the walk-a-thon. With all your help, together we were able to donate more than $2,000.
Once again, thanks.
Thanks to my great team for joining me, and make sure you rest up for next year. I can hardly wait.
Thanks to all,
Linda Angus
P.S. To those who organized the “Relay for Life,” you did an awesome job. Keep up the good work and I’ll see you next year.
