Big thanks

To the editor:
We would sincerely like to send a big thank you to the following people for helping us on July 4, when the alternator quit on our car at the Junction of Hwy. 11 & 71.
Mr. Gerald Carr stopped and boosted the car battery enough to get us to Emo, where he told us Mr. Ed Leduc would check it for us. Mr. Leduc not only checked the car to make sure it was the alternator, he phoned 5 different places until he located one for us, but it wouldn’t be available until Saturday morning. He charged the battery to get us to Fort Frances. As we drove into Fort Frances we noticed Auto Parts International store. Taking a chance that they might happen to have one we stopped. The lady, whose name I do not know, kindly said she would have one in an hour for us. She then drove to pick it up. We were back in running order in a short time.
Fortunately for us it was still covered by warranty as we had just replaced it a short time ago.
We will never forget the hospitality those people have shown us.
Thank you once again.
