“We know everyone is excited about going back to school,” noted Tammi Mann, co-ordinator of the Stratton Toy Library. So why not come down to the STL and celebrate with them on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Those interested are asked to pe-register and also bring along a snack to share.
In other news, the STL will be holding a 50/50 draw on Aug. 22. Tickets available at the centre and from any board member.
As well, anyone who has anything they think might be of use for the STL’s craft club can drop them off there.
Mann wishes to thank everyone for being so understanding and patient with them while they changed over to an Ontario Early Years Centre.
“We are working to make this a better place for parents and their children,” she noted, adding people should watch for the grand opening, which will happen sometime this fall.
Meanwhile, Mann said if anyone has any ideas on workshops they think the STL should host, or anything they want to see different or new there, they can let her know.
“I will try my best to meet the needs of everyone,” she pledged. “Feel free to stop by and let me know your suggestions.”
Mann also reminded people they can pick up a schedule outlining the daily programs planned at the STL—a different one each day.
