Much gratitude

Dear editor,
My name is Britainee Whalen and at the beginning of the summer I was crowned Miss Fun in the Sun. I am writing this letter to express my gratitude toward the people who assisted me along the way.
I would like to thank my mom for her sewing skills and the rest of my family for their support. To the people who bought my buttons and the 50/50 tickets from me, thank you very much!
Also, to Sarah Angus and Andrea Boileau, thank you for helping me with my entertainment. Both of you did a great job at kicking the soccer ball around!
I also would like to thank the other Fun in the Sun contestants, as well as the Fun in the Sun committee, for making the event so enjoyable.
A special thank you goes out to Bob Thomson, owner of Dairy Queen, for making everything possible by sponsoring me.
