Christine McMillen passed away suddenly in Thunder Bay, Ont., on January 3, 2025. She will be sadly missed by her mother Sheila McMillen; her siblings Beatrice (Darrell), Russell (Shelley), Warren (Barb), Christopher (Colette), Amy, Lucille (Charlton) and Sarah; her children Allison and Tamara; and grandchildren, Hayden and Averi.

She will also be missed by all her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.

Christine was predeceased by her father, Robert McMillen, whom she loved dearly; her biological mother, Cecelia Beaver; her biological father Edward Angeconeb Jr.; and many other Aunts and Uncles.
Christine was raised in Mine Centre until the age of 15 when she moved to Nigigoonsiminikaaning FNT with the father of Allison, Garry Windego

Christine spent most of her life in Thunder Bay, Ont. She was in a common law relationship with Ely Wawea for 17 years and he continued to love and care for her to this date.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., at the Royalton Hotel, 248 Bay St., Thunder Bay. There will also be a service in Fort Frances in the spring where she will be laid to rest. Date to be announced.
