It is with great sadness that the family of Helen (Seltzer) O’Neill announce her passing on January 4, 2025, at the TBRHSC in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Mom was born in Blue Township, Ontario on November 29, 1938, to Bill and Viola (Selman) Seltzer.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children Stacy, Jo-Ann (Kim), Doug (Claire); grandchildren Kennedi, Trace, Danny and Giselle; great-grandchildren Tristan and Alice; siblings Dorothy, Norman (Diane), Ray (Jenny); sister-in-law Doris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Ken; parents Bill and Viola Seltzer; siblings Janet and Les; brother-in-law Colin.
Mom was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was happiest when family visited, the more the merrier. She was a kind and loving person who loved to talk to people. Spending time at the lake watching the animals or cuddling dogs that visited her home brought Mom great joy. In her later years Mom kept herself busy doing her many crafts and jigsaw puzzles.
A private family service will take place in the Spring. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Mom.
