Riverside Foundation for Health Care is excited to announce that the winner of the Halloween 50/50 jackpot is Ernest McCormack of Morson, ON with the winning ticket number OO-6962460. Ernest is the lucky recipient of $8,875, with the same amount going to the Foundation. The draw was made on November 28th at 11:00am in the Foundation Office.

Ernest, who indicated that he’s been purchasing the Riverside 50/50 tickets for about a year now, said that the winnings came at the perfect time. Being in the middle of some house renovations, this will help him complete them.

Tickets for the next Riverside 50/50, Ring in the Riches, are available now at www.riverside5050.ca or by calling the Foundation Office to arrange for offline sales. Offline sales will close on Friday, December 20th at 4:00pm, but tickets are always available online until Monday, December 30th at 11:59pm.

The $500 early bird draw sponsored by West End Motors and Westland Insurance will take place Wednesday, November 13th. An additional early bird prize of a pontoon cruise package for 6 including a deluxe shore lunch donated by Rainy Lake Adventures will take place on December 20th at 11:00am.  The jackpot draw will take place on New Year’s Eve at 11:00am.

The Riverside Foundation for Health Care is the fundraising entity for Riverside Health Care Facilities. It is our mission to raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment, the support of patient/client services, and the improvement of medical facilities for all residents of the area served by Riverside Health Care. Donors can choose to designate their donation to a specific facility, department, or approved piece of capital equipment. Every dollar designated to a specific fund is used for it’s intended purpose. Riverside Foundation honours the capital approval process that is in place at Riverside Facilities and is only able to support the purchase of any medical equipment, support patient/client services, and support any improvement of medical facilities that has been granted approval by Riverside Health Care Facilities.

Ernest McCormack is the latest winner of the Riverside Foundation for Health Care 50/50 draw. A draw timed for Christmas giving is open now, with the draw date set for New Years Eve. The tickets have been a popular stocking stuffer in past years – the New Years Eve prize is already about to cross over the $10,000 mark, with two weeks left!
