Remembrance Day services planned

Nov. 11 is Remembrance Day, when we all gather to honour all those who have given their lives for our freedom.
Once again, Legion Br. #99 in Emo has planned several services for next Tuesday, with the local ministerial association participating.
The first service will be held at Our Lady of the Way School in Stratton at 10 a.m., followed by one at the Stratton cenotaph at 11 a.m. and one at the Barwick cenotaph at 11:45 a.m.
After a lunch at the Emo Legion at 12:30 p.m., services then will be held at the Devlin cenotaph (2 p.m.) and the Emo cenotaph (2:45 p.m.)
The annual Remembrance Day supper will follow at the Emo Legion at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $10 each, with an awards program to follow.
