Gillons’ extends lead

The top of the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League is in a holding pattern.
Gillons’ continues to lead the pack after last Thursday night’s action, putting a little more distance between themselves and their pursuers as their 11 points finds them two ahead of the second-place Wildcats.
The Die Hards are in third with eight points while Del’s Angels sit in fourth (six). Crush, Scared Hitless, and G.I. Jane’s are locked in a three-way tie for fifth with four points apiece while the Mixed Nuts hold down eighth place (three).
The Power Paks are in ninth with two points, The Placers remain in 10th spot with one, while the last-place Rookies continue to look for their first point of the season.
Action resumes tomorrow night (Nov. 13) at Fort Frances High School and Robert Moore School beginning at 7 p.m.
